Schedule an in-office or virtual evaluation to determine the right next step for your care.
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, or TMS, is a noninvasive treatment for depression. It uses focused magnetic pulses to stimulate areas of the brain involved in mood regulation.
One-Day TMS follows an accelerated schedule, with multiple 3-minute sessions carefully spaced throughout one day. Planned rest periods and clinical support are built into the experience.
Depression care is personal, and there is no single schedule that is right for everyone. Your evaluation with Dr. Lyons will help determine whether One-Day TMS is right for you.
You don’t need to check every box. A conversation with our team can help you understand whether One-Day TMS may fit your needs.
Dr. Lyons will review your medical history, current medications, past treatment experiences, and goals to understand your needs and determine whether One-Day TMS may be appropriate for you.
Your evaluation can take place in-office or virtually. From there, Dr. Lyons will recommend a treatment plan tailored to your clinical needs, so you can feel clear and confident about what comes next.
Request a Complimentary ConsultYou will follow a simple treatment-and-rest rhythm throughout the day. The clinical team stays close, explains what comes next, and checks on your comfort along the way.
Settle in, review the plan with your care team, and complete the mapping and setup needed for treatment.
You remain awake during each brief session and may hear clicking or feel rhythmic tapping. Between sessions, you’ll have a 30-minute break to read, eat, work quietly, move around, or rest.
The clinical team stays close throughout your visit, checks on your comfort, and helps you know what comes next. Temporary scalp tenderness or headache can occur.
Review follow-up and next steps. Because TMS does not use anesthesia or sedation, most patients can resume normal activities afterward; your team will give you individualized guidance.
This is an example of the treatment-day flow. Exact timing and clinical steps may vary based on your evaluation and treatment plan.
Depression is not always easy to put into words. Brain mapping and EEG recordings give Dr. Lyons another way to examine patterns of brain activity, alongside your symptoms, history, and how you feel.

This example compares brain activity before and after treatment. Brighter areas represent greater neural activity. The later image shows activity across more areas of the brain, allowing changes in the overall pattern to be seen more clearly.
Neural activity key: Brighter areas represent greater neural activity.

EEG records the brain’s electrical activity. In this example, the initial recording shows broader, less-defined activity. After treatment, the shorter, more distinct peaks reflect a more organized response that corresponds with the changes seen in the brain map.
EEG key: More defined peaks may reflect a more organized brain response.
These images are educational examples and do not predict how any individual patient will respond. Brain maps and EEG recordings are interpreted alongside your symptoms, history, and complete clinical evaluation.
